Recorded at the marvelous Reitstadel of Neumark concert hall in Germany by legendary sound engineer Andreas Neubronner, the youthful Avdeeva deploys a sensational piano technique coupled with a vivid, expressive and poetic palette. The program includes Chopin’s Fantaisie Op.49, Mozart’s Piano Sonata K284, Liszt’s Après une lecture du Dante, and his transcription of the Danza Sacrée from Verdi’s Aida.
