Tour in Germany with Julia Fischer and Academy of St Martin in the fields

Between 28 January and 6 February 2016, Yulianna Avdeeva will perform in Germany's most prestigious concert halls. Together with violinist Julia Fischer and the Academy of St Martin in the Fields she will play Felix Mendelssohn's Double Concerto for Piano and Violin in nine concerts across the country. The tour takes in Cologne Philharmonie (28 January), Essen Philharmonie (29 January), Berlin Konzerthaus
(1 February) and Hamburg's Laeiszhalle (3 February) amongst others.

Another highlight will be the release of a new solo album by Yulianna Avdeeva on Mirare in the Spring. Furthermore, at the beginning of this month Deutsche Grammophon released a CD boxed set featuring all Chopin Competition winners. Yulianna Avdeeva, who won First Prize in the 2010 Chopin Competition as first woman since Martha Argerich, is portrayed on one full CD.
